Fischer Panda marine generators are the ideal choice for professional sailing and boating. Fischer Panda marine generators are compact, light, quiet and very efficient. The generatoring set is housed within a sound insulated capsule which shields against operational noise and vibration. When correctly installed they will operate practically unnoticed. A quiet generator is of upmost importance when pleasure cruising. Fischer Panda marine generators are so compactly constructed that they require only the minimal space onboard. As petrol is not suitable for marine uses, all Fischer Panda marine generators are driven by diesel engines from manufacturers such as Farymann, Kubota, Mercedes Benz and Volkswagen.

This range employs a 'wet' exhaust, raw water is mixed with exhaust gases. For optimal environmental protection use marine river generators, these use a dry exhaust.
All gensets in this range run at 3000rpm nominal. For heavy duty use, the slow running (1500rpm) HD generators are ideal.

Every Panda marine generator greater than 10 kVA can be additionally fitted with the integrated "Duo Plus" AGT-Battery charging generator (charging rate 4KW 12V / 270A (!!!)) or 24V / 135A. The AC Panda generator is transformed into a High-Tech-AGT combi-generator. The generator can then efficiently charge the batteries to a state that was previously not considered possible. The marine generator automatically starts or stops according to the battery status. The AC power supply up to 5 kW constant performance is produced by means of the inverter, which is supplied by the battery as well as by the generator. The generator can run at a greatly reduced speed (approx 1800 to 2000 rpm) if charging the battery

Heavy Duty 1500rpm Generators

Panda Marine Generator PMS-HD The heavy duty slow runners. Based on the robust Panda marine generator, these heavy duty versions (HD) operate at 1500 rpm / 50Hz. The PMS-HD generator is enclosed within a super silent sound insulated capsule. The generators are heavier than the standard PMS generators. They use a heavy duty diesel engine and because they run at 1500 rpm, have a 4 wire coil which also means the alternator has a heavier 4 pole construction. The heavy constuction and low operating rpm result in a durable and quiet generating set.
